Dwarf Planet Ceres & Meteorite Samples

Scientist Marc Fries gave a talk at NASA Johnson Space Center about the NASA Dawn spacecraft that recently arrived in orbit around Ceres and meteorites.  Ceres is a dwarf planet the size of Texas and the largest body in the asteroid belt. Ceres is a poorly-understood dwarf planet that is probably rich in volatiles, to include a large volume of water ice. Fries discussed salt grains found in two unusual meteorites that have been hypothesized as originating from Ceres.
